In addition, the Shankguard feature above the Lo-Grip thread protects from under-roof corrosion resistance as it cuts a slightly larger hole in the roofing profile than the shank diameter, preventing the fastener from scratching the edges and maintaining its corrosion-resistance coating in-tact.
