Description
Reliance 25-inch 750-millivolt generator thermopile assembly is an essential part of the gas-fired water heater with electronic gas control. current is enough to operate the gas valve, and keep it open so that the main burner can be lit. It operates similarly to a safety mechanism to allow flow of gas only when a pilot light is available. Advantages include dependable ignition, the absence of outside electrical power supply, and improved safety in the event of the pilot light malfunctions where buildup of gases is prevented. It aids in mechanical and safe use of the water heater. Not for use on heaters without electronic gas control thermostat valve.
