Hi-Tip rubber furniture leg tips: sizing to the leg, and buying in quantity
A leg tip is a rubber cap that pushes over the end of a chair, table or stool leg — a chair leg cap, in the words most people use. It stops the bare leg marking the floor, stops the chair skidding, and on a metal tube leg it stops the cut edge cutting into whatever it stands on. The size is the outside diameter of the leg it fits, from 1/2 In. to 1-1/4 In. here, and it has to be measured rather than guessed: a tip one size up walks off, and one size down will not go on. Hi-Tip is the deeper profile, which grips a longer section of the leg and is what holds up under a chair that gets moved every day.
