Description
For use by experienced riders, a tom thumb bit is generally used with horses that are not obeying cues from reins. With a jointed mouthpiece and long shanks, a tom thumb bit is a leverage bit that applies pressure to the poll, bars, tongue, and roof of a horse's mouth. This training bit can be an effective training tool in the right hands.
