Approved for Net 30 terms? Here is how to place orders on your account online, from signing in to paying the invoice.
Once your business credit application is approved, you can place orders on your account right from familyhardware.com. Orders placed online go straight to fulfillment without being re-keyed, so they ship faster than a PO sent by email. Not approved yet? Apply for a business account.
1. Sign In or Create Your Account
Sign in or create an account using the email address on file with us — the one your approval was granted to. Business features such as on-account checkout and your pricing only appear when you are signed in with that email.
Need a different email on the account? Email us and we'll update it.
2. Add Items to Your Cart
Search by our SKU, the Do it Best SKU, UPC, or product name. On the product page and in the cart you can type a quantity directly instead of clicking the plus button, which is handy for case quantities.
3. Check Out on Your Account
In your cart, choose the business option to order on account and receive a Net 30 invoice. No card is charged. You'll be asked for:
PO number. Required when your account is set up to require purchase orders; optional otherwise. It prints on your invoice.
Shipping address. Your address on file is filled in for you. Change it for a one-off delivery to a job site or another location.
Use my shipping account. Ship on your own FedEx or UPS account: choose the carrier, enter the account number, and pick Ground, 2nd Day, or Next Day. Freight is billed to your carrier account and shipping is $0 on the order.
Tax exemption. Applies automatically when a certificate is on file for the account.

4. What Happens Next
You'll get an order confirmation by email right away. Orders placed by 5 pm ET ship the next business day when the items are in stock at the warehouse. The invoice is emailed when the order ships and is due Net 30 from the invoice date. Pay online from the link in the invoice, or by ACH or check. Your open invoices and balance are always available under Billing in your account.

Can I still email a PO?
Yes. Orders placed through the website ship faster, though, because nothing has to be re-keyed on our end.
Will you ship on my FedEx or UPS account?
Yes. Check "Use my shipping account" at checkout, enter the carrier and account number, and we ship on your account with no shipping charge on the order. You can also save the account number under your account settings so it is filled in next time.
What if I do not see the business checkout option?
Business features only appear when you are signed in with the email address the account was approved under. If you are signed in with a different email, or the account has not been approved yet, email us and we will sort it out.
