Tenryu Saw has made blades in Japan since 1910. Every blade we stock is made there, not licensed out.

Micro-grain carbide

Fine-grain carbide tips take a sharper edge and hold it, and they come back from our sharpening bench more times than a cheaper tip.

Hand-tensioned plates

Plates are tensioned and hardened so the blade runs flat and quiet at speed. Silencer plates add laser-cut anti-vibration slots.

A grind for every material

Wood, laminate, aluminum, steel, stainless, plastics, solid surface and fiber cement each get their own tooth geometry, not one blade for everything.

Which Tenryu blade fits my saw?

Match the diameter and arbor on your current blade. Power Blade and Silencer cover 4" to 12" circular, trim and miter saws; Gold Medal, Rapid-Cut and Industrial Wood cover 10" to 16" table saws and sliders (5/8", 1" and 30mm bores); Plunge Saw blades are 160mm and 210mm with a 20mm bore for track saws. Every series page lists diameter, arbor, teeth, grind and kerf for each blade.

Can Tenryu blades be sharpened?

Yes, and they are worth sharpening: the carbide tips are large enough for many regrinds. Family Hardware sharpens Tenryu blades on CNC grinders in Cape Coral and by mail from anywhere in the country, with free shipping both ways on 10 or more blades.

Are Tenryu blades made in Japan?

Every Tenryu blade we sell is manufactured in Japan by Tenryu Saw Mfg. Co., founded in 1910.
