Conic Scoring Saws

Tapered-tooth scoring blades — match the main blade kerf by adjusting height

Conic tooth shape allows adjustment to match the kerf of the main blade simply by adjusting the height of the scoring blade. The tapered sides (RA design) let the kerf widen as the blade is raised. All are made with SuperMicro-Sheen C-11 sub-micron carbide for longer life; 10° hook for all conic scoring saws. As the main saw becomes narrower with sharpening, set the scoring saw shallower to match. In our experience it is best to score slightly wider than the main saw to prevent chipping on the bottom of the piece.
