Protective plastic wrap: the tubing slips over the teeth to protect a sharpened blade in transit and storage, works in hot and cold climates unlike messy, sticky wax dips, is safe and easy to use, and can be reused over and over. The roll is approximately 2,000 ft — enough for about 750 10" saw blades.
Wax stick: an excellent grease stick that provides lubrication as well as reducing friction and tool wear. We recommend some sort of lubrication when cutting non-ferrous materials and the Popular Tools wax stick was designed for just that — an affordable way to reduce chattering, burring and galling. Biodegradable, non-irritating and non-toxic.
