Leitz Tooling Hardware & Clamping: Buying Guide
Clamping systems, arbors, spacers, and Hydro clamping elements that hold tooling with the concentricity and repeatability Leitz precision demands. Hydro-Duo elements use a closed hydraulic system for perfect run-out control.
How to Choose
- Confirm the interface — fixed bore, HSK, or hydro clamping — for your spindle.
- Match the clamping range and length to the tool you are mounting.
- Prioritise concentricity (low run-out) for finish and tool life.
- Contact us to build the correct clamping stack for your setup.
Specs to Check
Best for moulders, CNC centres, and any spindle requiring precise, repeatable tool clamping.
Machines & Applications
Leitz tooling is machine-brand agnostic — fit comes down to the mounting, speed rating, and rotation, not the badge on your machine. Here is where this tooling typically runs and what professional shops use it for.
Runs On These Machines
- CNC machining centres (HSK 63F / HSK 85 spindles)
- 4-sided moulders & tenoners
- Spindle moulders
What Pros Use It For
- Hydro clamping for run-out-critical finish passes
- Building balanced tool assemblies for high-RPM spindles
- Fast, repeatable tool changes on CNC production lines
