The Canyon Series is Challenger Designs’ line of built-in door, drawer and access units for masonry, stone, stucco and framed outdoor kitchen islands. Like all Challenger products, they are powder-coated aluminum — they will not rust, warp or rot — and they are made in Nappanee, Indiana.

Canyon faces overlap the island opening, so your rough cutout is 1.5 inches narrower and shorter than the unit’s face dimensions — an 18" × 29" single door needs a 16.5" × 27.5" opening. Full-enclosure units need 22.5 inches of clear depth; door-and-frame-only units need just 4 inches.

Full-enclosure units include a sealed 22.5-inch-deep storage body, so contents stay dry inside the island. Door-and-frame-only units are a 4-inch-deep finished face for openings where the island cavity itself is the storage — at a lower price.

Single doors (18" and 24"), double doors (30"–40"), under-grill access doors (30"–40"), drawer-over-door combos, 4-drawer cabinets, waste bin pull-outs with or without a drawer, a vented LP tank pull-out, and a built-in paper towel holder — plus trim kits for uneven stone surfaces, in three door styles and eight powder-coat colors.

Trim kits are recommended when installing into stone, stacked block or other uneven facings — they give the unit a clean, finished reveal against the rough surface. A matching trim kit is available for every Canyon size.
