Fiber cement eats carbide. Board-Pro blades use polycrystalline diamond tips and a low tooth count to cut Hardie siding and backer board with less dust and dramatically longer life.
Every Tenryu blade is made in Japan by the oldest saw manufacturer in the country (founded 1910): micro-grain carbide tips, hand-tensioned and hardened plates, and a grind that is checked, not assumed.
