Melamine and laminate chip on the bottom face. Tenryu’s high alternate top bevel and ATAF+R grinds cut both faces clean on a table saw, and the Industrial Laminate sizes fit sliders with 30mm bores.
Every Tenryu blade is made in Japan by the oldest saw manufacturer in the country (founded 1910): micro-grain carbide tips, hand-tensioned and hardened plates, and a grind that is checked, not assumed.
