Plastics melt behind a wood blade. Plastic-Cut and the Pro Series Plastic sizes use a modified triple chip grind with a low hook so acrylic, polycarbonate and PVC cut clean and cool.
Every Tenryu blade is made in Japan by the oldest saw manufacturer in the country (founded 1910): micro-grain carbide tips, hand-tensioned and hardened plates, and a grind that is checked, not assumed.
