Invis Mx2
Invis Mx2 is Lamello's magnetic connector: a 12 mm threaded bolt with an internal magnet is set in one work piece and a threaded sleeve in the other; the MiniMag drive unit, chucked in any drill (1,200–1,500 rpm), is held against the outside of the joint and its rotating magnetic field turns the bolt into the sleeve, pulling the joint tight with a clamping force of around 250 kg. Reverse the drill to release. The joint is 100% invisible from every side and fully detachable — furniture, stair posts, tabletops, bed frames, bath and shop fittings.
The 14 mm stud is for standard applications; the 30 mm stud reaches through thicker material and offers more adjustment. Sets are 20 pairs with 12 × 35 mm male halves; female halves are sold in 20s. The starter set in a Systainer has the MiniMag with flexible shaft, 20 pairs 14 mm, the Rasto 12 mm drill jig with depth adjuster, bushing, screw bit and insertion jig.

What do I need to install Invis Mx2?
A Lamello Zeta P2 or Zeta P2 Cordless set to P-System depth undefined, or a CNC with the P-System cutter, in material from undefined. The connector pushes into the groove by hand — no glue or screws to anchor it. Lock the cam with a 4 mm hex key through the 6 mm access hole; the Clamex P flexible fitting tool reaches inside carcasses.
