Question 1

What sizes do Napoleon built-in grills come in?

Accepted Answer

The Built-In 700 Series offers 32" and 38" grill heads with an infrared rear burner and a 44" head with dual infrared rear burners, plus a 32" griddle. The 32" is also available in matte black. The Built-In 500 Series has a 32" stainless steel grill.

Question 2

Do Napoleon built-in grills come in natural gas and propane?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each built-in grill, griddle and drop-in burner is sold as a separate propane (LP) and natural gas (NG) item, so choose the fuel before you order. Our product pages link both versions.

Question 3

Where can I buy Napoleon built-in grills near Cape Coral and Fort Myers?

Accepted Answer

Family Hardware is Southwest Florida's authorized Napoleon dealer, with showrooms in Cape Coral (622 SE 47th Terrace, 239-542-6365) and Fort Myers (13101 McGregor Blvd, 239-933-1744). You can also order online at familyhardware.com.

Question 4

How do Napoleon grills hold up to salt air in Cape Coral and Fort Myers?

Accepted Answer

Napoleon builds its grills with stainless steel, which handles coastal humidity better than painted steel, but no grill is immune to salt air. Along the Caloosahatchee, the Gulf and the canals of Lee County, rinse the exterior with fresh water and wipe it with a soft cloth every few weeks, keep a fitted cover on the grill when it is not in use, and clean grease and ash out of the firebox. That routine keeps surface rust and tarnish from taking hold. Battery-free JETFIRE™ ignition also keeps lighting reliably in humid air.

Question 5

Is assembly and delivery included when I buy a Napoleon grill in Southwest Florida?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Napoleon grills from Family Hardware include free assembly and delivery in Southwest Florida, including Cape Coral, Fort Myers and the rest of Lee County, and free shipping to the continental U.S. Outdoor kitchen cabinets, built-in installation and other accessories can be handled differently, so call us to confirm delivery details: Cape Coral 239-542-6365, Fort Myers 239-933-1744.

Question 6

Should I buy natural gas or propane in Lee County?

Accepted Answer

Natural gas is only an option where gas service reaches your address and a gas line can be run to the grill location, and not every neighborhood in Cape Coral, Fort Myers or Lee County has it. Propane works anywhere: a tank under the grill (or a slide-out tank kit in an outdoor kitchen) and you are cooking, and you can swap or refill cylinders at our stores. Most Napoleon models are sold in both versions as separate SKUs, so pick the fuel before you order. If you are not sure what your home has, call either store before you buy.

Question 7

How should I protect my Napoleon grill during hurricane season?

Accepted Answer

Before a storm, turn off the gas at the tank or valve, disconnect propane cylinders and store them upright outdoors in a ventilated spot, never in a garage or indoors. Move freestanding carts to a sheltered area or secure them so they cannot become projectiles, and remove or tie down the cover. Built-in grills in an outdoor kitchen should be covered and shut off at the gas valve. After the storm, check hoses and burners for debris, insects and water before you light the grill.
