- The 3.5 mm steel cooktop comes pre-seasoned, so it starts out non-stick.
- You can use metal spatulas and scrapers on it. The seasoned finish takes it.

Is the Napoleon Freestyle a good first gas grill?
Yes. Freestyle is Napoleon's entry series, and you still get the real features: JETFIRE™ ignition, porcelainized cast iron WAVE™ grids, an ACCU-PROBE™ lid gauge, and a 10-year warranty. It costs a little more than a throwaway big-box grill and lasts years longer.
What is the difference between the Freestyle 365 and Freestyle 425?
The Freestyle 365 is a three-burner (33,000 BTU, 495 sq. in. total); the Freestyle 425 is a four-burner (38,000 BTU, 571 sq. in. total). Both are available as SB bundles that add an integrated range side burner for sauces and sides.
