About this grill
The BBQ05SS
The BBQ05SS is Tagwood’s built-in Santa Maria grill — the same stainless steel 304 cooking system as the BBQ03SS, made to drop into a custom outdoor kitchen island or masonry surround. It offers 557 sq. in. across a crank-adjustable main grate, an interchangeable griddle and S-shaped meat hooks, above a firebrick-lined firebox (brasero).
The standard right-side elevation wheel can be built frontal for tight islands, and the unit is available factory fully assembled. Pair it with a Tagwood wall-mounted or attachment smoke hood (special order) for covered lanais. Ships partially assembled with hooks, griddle, coal rake and shovel.

Round grates or V-shape grates?
Round stainless grates are standard and come with the interchangeable griddle; they sear with classic grill marks and let fat drip to the coals for flavor. V-shape grates are channeled and slightly tilted so fat runs off to a drip channel — cleaner, fewer flare-ups, easier on delicate foods. Choosing V-shape replaces the round grates and excludes the griddle.
