About this grill
The BBQ08SS
The BBQ08SS is the built-in 360° version of the BBQ05SS, made entirely of stainless steel 304. It adds a rotating clamp grill and a portable fixed grill so you can cook low-and-slow on one side while searing on the other — clamp grill, interchangeable griddle, roof warming grill and secondary grate together give up to 1,600 sq. in. of cooking surface above a firebrick-lined firebox with Tagwood’s integrated grease drain.
Sized to drop into a masonry or framed island; front-elevation and factory fully-assembled builds are available, and it pairs with the ASH08 attachment smoke hood or a wall-mounted hood (special order). Ships partially assembled with all grates, hooks, shovel and coal rake.

Round grates or V-shape grates?
Round stainless grates are standard and come with the interchangeable griddle; they sear with classic grill marks and let fat drip to the coals for flavor. V-shape grates are channeled and slightly tilted so fat runs off to a drip channel — cleaner, fewer flare-ups, easier on delicate foods. Choosing V-shape replaces the round grates and excludes the griddle.
